Nepal Crisis: The youth protest in Nepal shook the foundations of power. The Parliament House, Supreme Court, offices of political parties, residences of the Prime Minister and ministers were burnt down. The protesters set fire to Kathmandu's biggest hotel Hilton. The entire hotel was burnt down.Hilton Hotel is considered not just a place of luxury accommodation but a living symbol of Nepal's cultural and architectural heritage. The architecture of this hotel not only symbolizes modernity but also reflects the rich traditions and natural beauty of Nepal.

The hotel's dazzling façade features vertical glass panels inspired by Buddhist prayer flags, giving the building a unique identity. The panels change colour in the daylight, making them a vibrant and dynamic sight. The panels come alive even more after sunset, creating a mesmerising array of colours. 

The army took command

After taking over security operations in Nepal last night, the army on Wednesday said that curfew orders will remain in force throughout the day and will continue on Thursday as well. The army said that this step has been taken due to the current situation.

According to the Kathmandu Post report, the army has intensified its action against incidents of robbery and jailbreak. Four people involved in robbery in Maharajganj were detained, while the suspects fled leaving behind some cash and looted weapons after being spotted by security forces.

Kathmandu Tense, Gen Z Uprising

Images from Kathmandu showed army personnel patrolling the capital while locals went about their daily routine. However, the city has been spared from Tuesday's violence, with smoke still rising from the headquarters of a Nepali media channel. The Parliament, Supreme Court and other governance buildings have been heavily damaged in the movement of Generation Z protesters.
